PERU, Lima, cob ¼ real, Philip II, assayer Diego de la Torre, unique mule struck with ½R obverse die with P to left, •D to right, star below monogram. S-L4; KM-unl (2 for type); Cal-unl (Type 56). 0.81 gram. Crazy muling error with choice full monogram on obverse and lion in crowned shield on reverse, small parts of legend visible, deeply toned AU details with very light surface porosity, the first and only example of this error we have ever seen or heard of, very important for the Peruvian and/or cuartilla specialist.
