Cartagena, Colombia, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer E, NRE/NER to left (late 1620s), very rare, PCGS genuine, Restrepo Plate Coin (stated on label). Restrepo-M45.11; S-C3; KM-3.4; Cal-Type 298. 27.06 grams. Bold full cross with choice castles and lions (the latter with unusual but distinctive pronounced circular/crescent design in legs), well-detailed full shield with transposed lions and castles at upper-left, full mintmark-assayer showing R/E and E/R to left and denomination VIII (vertically) to right, full 16 of date, AU with light toning in crevices, somewhat crude edge (as made).
