BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer B (5th period, early style). S-P14; KM-unl (5.1 for type); Cal-672. 24.61 grams. Broad flan with lots of legend and full crown, full shield and cross with distinctive "alien head" lions per Sellschopp-280, misshapen assayer due to slight doubling, steel-gray toning on lightly corroded surfaces, AU details otherwise. From the "Randwijk Hoard" (Laurens Schulman auction of February 1990) found in the Netherlands in 1987.
