Wooden cocoa frother. 75.5 grams, 7" tall and 2-1/8" in diameter. This remarkably intact wooden object was used in the 1700s to stir chocolate and consists of a long, ornate handle that is removable from a heavy, round, knobby, mallet-like agitator, its old wood surfaces dark and lustrous, with tiny wormholes and chips here and there but fundamentally whole, a great display item that sat on display in Art's Museum for many years but was never for sale. From the Capitana El Rubí and pedigreed to Art McKee's Sunken Treasure Museum, with certificate.
