VARIOUS COUNTRIES, four-coin partial denomination set of 1/2-1-2-8 reales, Mexico and Guatemala, Charles III and IV, in NGC slabs ("Blue Abyss" Shipwreck Blue Labels). This mysterious shipwreck was found and salvaged by robot in 2001 at a depth of about three miles (at the time, the deepest treasure salvage ever undertaken), following accidental discovery during a search for Gus Grissom's capsule, Liberty Bell 7 (which was lost in 1961 and recovered in 1999). This set was assembled by a promoter who dubbed it the "Blue Abyss Shipwreck," using some of the best available coins from the wreck (lacking only the rare 4 reales), each with minimal or light corrosion and no toning, as follows: Mexico City, Mexico, bust 8 reales, Charles IV, 1798 FM, NGC XF details / sea salvaged; Mexico City, Mexico, bust 2 reales, Charles III, 1775 FM, NGC Fine details / cleaned; Mexico City, Mexico, bust 1 real, Charles IV, 1797 FM, NGC XF details / sea salvaged; Guatemala, bust 1/2 real, Charles IV, 1800 M, NGC Fine details / sea salvaged. NGC #6886577-001 to -004. With Sedwick photo-certificates. Recovered from: "Coconut Wreck," sunk ca. 1810 in deep water off Bermuda
