Uruguay (struck at the Santiago Mint), three-coin set of 1000 pesos in various metals, 1969, FAO commemoratives, all finest known or "top pop" in NGC census: gold, NGC PF 68 Ultra Cameo; silver, NGC PF 67 Ultra Cameo; bronze, NGC MS 65 BN. KM-55, 55a, 55b. 87.85 grams total. Well-matched set of three identical low-mintage proofs in gold, silver and copper, the first two brightly lustrous and the third with lovely violet-gold toning, the gold and copper finest known in the NGC census and the silver tied with one other for that honor.
