UNITED STATES, Denver mint, copper-nickel Eisenhower dollar, no date (1971-74, 77-78), struck on a 50 cents planchet error, PCGS MS64, ex-Busto. grams. Fascinating error with the Ike dollar design struck on a Kennedy half planchet. Since the planchet was well centered on the die, the central part of the design is quite bold, yet the date is not visible at all and only the date range of non-Bicentennial dollars can be given. A Brilliant Mint State example of this difficult to find error. Pedigreed to the José Busto Collection
