Sumeric gold case attachment, 18th-12th century BC, from Aleppo, Syria. 0.7 gram; 2-3/8" long. Ribbon-like (feather-light and very thin), with embossed design showing a bearded, skeletal knight (supposedly a courtier), tiny pinholes on sides for fastening to a case, bright and high-grade gold.
