Spanish miquelet flintlock pistol, ca. 1760-80, silver furniture, with belt-clip, rare. 624 grams; 10-1/2" long. Compact pistol in excellent working condition, with steel octagonal-to-round barrel marked with a deep hallmark showing a crown above ANGE / LATS, ornately engraved steel lock with the same hallmark on the back of the frizzen and with bird scene on bottom, brass-and-silver trigger guard and buttplate, wooden stock with carved design and silver inlay at handle, possibly original ramrod with brass holder, brass sideplate with steel belt-clip, well maintained and beautiful.
