Spanish earthenware "olive jar," 1600s, intact, encrusted as from the Bay of Campeche, Mexico. 3550 grams, 12" tall and 9" in diameter. Complete piece with no cracks or chips or repairs, encrusted all over with a variety of different corals, barnacles and debris (including a small piece of iron), great for display. Found in the early 1960s.
