Spanish colonial earthenware "olive jar," 1700s. 3.02 kg, 12" tall and 8" in diameter at its widest. The common container of its time, made in the shape of an olive (which is what many of them held) for carrying liquids and dry goods, the narrow top rim with rolled lip, circumferential manufacturing lines around the outside but no markings, fully intact but with light coating of dirt, depression in side (as made) that actually allows it to be displayed without a stand.
