Spanish colonial Caribbean miquelet pistol, early 1800s. 774 grams, 13" long, 7-3/4" barrel, 3/4" muzzle. Locally made colonial piece utilizing a captured English officer's brass pistol barrel fitted with a Spanish miquelet lock and walnut stock with blacksmith-made iron mounts, the brass barrel with touch marks and stamped "London," the lock working and all in very good original condition. Pedigreed to our Auction #19, with original lot-tag #1709, and pedigreed to the Stuart Auerbach collection (see lot 4).
