Spain, large copper medal, Charles III, establishment of the Academy of the Three Noble Arts (Seville), 1778. Vidal Quadras-14126a. 57.9 grams. Crude AVF with lots of stray marks but nice, even red-brown color with toning around details. The reverse shows three figures representing the "three noble arts" of painting, sculpture and architecture. Engraver: Antonio de Saa.
