Small, neatly formed silver contraband ingot, 833 grams, marked with fineness III-V-I, from the Capitana (1654). 4" x 1-1/2" x 1". Small, loaf-shaped ingot with dark and featureless top but rounded bottom with hand-engraved marks (similar to ones on other Capitana bars) that we previously interpreted as fineness in dineros-granos-milésimos, but in this case those numbers do not make sense (3 dineros, 5 granos, 1 milesimo, about 27% fine), so probably they mean something else, in any case the first of this shape we have seen from this wreck (all others being oval). From the Capitana (1654).
