Small, copper-arsenic tajadera from Oaxaca, Mexico (Mixtec culture), ca. 1300s AD, rare. Hosler Type 4B.. 4.9 grams, 2" long.Collectors of these native trade items crafted prior to Conquest know that the big ones are common, but small ones like this are rather seldom seen, and this one is perfectly intact, just typically dusty and patinated.
