Small clay whistle/pomander, ex-Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724). 7 grams. 3" long. Petite, oblong shape (possibly part of a larger object) with ring-turned embellishments, smooth and light brown all over, possibly used as a whistle or pomander, used to carry perfume around the neck to combat odors. From the Guadalupe-Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic.
