Small ballast stone, ex-1715 Fleet (Weller), ex-Wurl. 937 grams total. Roughly 4¼" x 3¼" x 2¾". Lightweight, egg-shaped gray stone with whitish encrustation all over; handwritten notes attached to it indicate the stone was recovered from the Nuestra Señora de Regla, one of the identified ships from the 1715 Fleet wreck, and "Plate Fleet Wreck 117.00.99." . From the 1715 Fleet, recovered by Bob "Frogfoot" Weller on the Douglass Beach site, pedigreed to the Edward Barton Wurl Collection, with printed list.
