Small Delftware pitcher (handle missing), encrusted as found, ex-pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686). 302 grams. Roughly 4" x 4". Mostly intact, the upper portion and handle missing, replaced by lots of encrustation and a nice chunk of coral. The pirate Bannister had captured an Irish ship and taken it north of Samaná, where he held it for two weeks and removed everything from it, including Delftware china like this piece. From the pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic.
