Small Delftware bowl colored red, blue, and green, ex-pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686). 115 grams. 2½" tall, 3½" diameter at lip. Small bowl with pedestal bottom, much of original paint colors visible, designs of leaves and geometric shapes all around outside, pieces of top missing, but makes for an interesting display. The pirate Bannister had captured an Irish ship and taken it north of Samaná, where he held it for two weeks and removed everything from it, including Delftware china like this piece. From the pirate ship Golden Fleece (1686), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic.
