Silver "tumbaga" bar #M-105, 3595 grams, marked with assayer B~Vo, serial RC, fineness IVCC L (1250/2400, 52.08% fine) and several partial tax stamps, ex-"Tumbaga wreck" (ca. 1528), Garcia-Barneche Plate. 12-1/2" x 4" x 1/2". A wide, flat bar with fairly smooth top surface showing bold markings in center (the small partial tax stamps more toward ends), slightly raised area to right, rough and darkly toned bottom, chevron-shaped assayer's "bite" in one corner.
