Silver plate with wide rim, ex-Concepción (1641). 447 grams. 11¼" in diameter, 1" deep. Large plate (probably not a serving platter), polished to a bright silver finish, mostly complete with about half the bottom missing, but sturdy nonetheless. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
