Silver "dog nose" table spoon dated 1706, British (London hallmark), Queen Anne period. 49 grams; 7-1/2" long. A simple spoon with thin ("rat tail") handle terminating in a flat end with upturned tip engraved on the underside with B / EA / 1706, also several small hallmarks along the underside of the handle including an AR monogram for maker Andrew Archer, fully intact except for small piece missing at end of bowl, lightly toned.
