Seville, Spain, cob 2 escudos, Philip III, assayer D, PCGS MS61, ex-Santa Margarita (1622, designated on label). Cal-Type 197; KM-48.2. 6.7 grams. Bold full shield and cross, both well detailed but slightly off-center, making the assayer clearly visible as well as most of the king's ordinal III, with faint traces of encrustation in crevices, rare and desirable provenance. PCGS #39169423. From the Santa Margarita (1622), with photo-certificate 80M-124-1 (mis-attributed to assayer G).
