Seven-sided gold ring, size 3, approximately 13K, ex-1715 Fleet. 1.65 grams. By modern standards a tiny ring, whose design consists of seven oval, convex panels, all in a brassy gold color (XRF tested at 55.59% gold, 20.45% silver, 22.80% copper), intact and undamaged. From the Douglass Beach site (formerly "Colored Beach") of the 1715 Fleet, found in 1987, with original Daniel Frank Sedwick letter of authenticity from 1998.
