Seleukid Kings of Syria, AR tetradrachm, Seleukos I Nikator, 312-281 BC, struck in the name and types of Alexander III (the Great) of Macedon, Babylon I mint, struck ca. 311-300 BC. SC 82.4a; Price 3751; HGC 9, 10f. 17.16 grams. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus seated left; MI in left field, monogram in wreath below throne. Bold VF+ with very light toning, attractive strike (well centered).
