Section of a large blue-and-white earthenware plate, ex-Concepción (1641). 269 grams. roughly 8½" x 5" x 2". About 30% of a large plate of blue-and-white pottery, with black wash over both sides, lots of crazing, the glaze intact. From the Concepción (1641), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic, and accompanied by the July 1996 issue of National Geographic signed by Captain Tracy Bowden on his article "Gleaning Treasure from the Silver Bank."
