SPANISH COLONIAL, mints uncertain, encrusted clump of three bust 8 reales, various kings, dates and assayers not visible. 79 grams total. roughly 2" x 1¾" x 1½". A very eye-catching display with two coins at a right angle to the third that appears to be dated 1786 below full bust of Charles III, the legend of Charles IV visible on one of the other coins, all mostly exposed (dark) but held together with white and green debris including one gray rock and shell bits of various colors. Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator. Recovered from: Cabalva, sunk in 1818 off Mauritius in the Indian Ocean
