SPANISH COLONIAL, mints uncertain, clump of four cob 1R (Lima or Potosí), assayers not visible, encrusted as found. 13.58 grams total. Roughly 1¾" x ¾" x ¼". Neat fallen stack of four small cobs all encrusted together with green sedimentation and shell bits as originally found on the wreck. Pedigreed to Sedwick Auction 24, with original lot-tag 510. Recovered from: Consolación, sunk in 1681 off Santa Clara Island, Ecuador
