SPANISH COLONIAL, mint uncertain, clump of one cob 4 reales in large mass of coral and iron remnants. 226 grams total. 4½" x 3½" x 2". Large, porous chunk of white coral with a single corroded 4 reales facing shield side out at one end along with a large spot of rust encrustation from some long-corroded ship's artifact, possibly with more debris or coins inside. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
