SPANISH COLONIAL, mint uncertain, clump of one cob 4 reales cocooned in white coral, assayer not visible. 48.57 grams total. roughly 3" x 2" x 1". A smooth, somewhat rectangular section of tumbled coral with a thickly encrusted coin embedded in one side (no details visible), definitely a good conversation piece. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
