SPANISH COLONIAL, Mexico City and Potosí, clump of one cob 8 reales and three cob 4 reales with white coral encrustation, assayers not visible. 67.57 grams total. roughly 1½" x 1½" x ¾". Tight, narrow stack of corroded coins with neat dollop of coral on top (smaller piece on bottom), the Mexican 8R on bottom with shield visible. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic. Recovered from: Concepción, sunk in 1641 off Hispaniola
