SPAIN (special issue for New World use), Seville, 1 real, Ferdinand-Isabel, column of three dots flanking shield, rare. Cal-443; López de la Fuente-F8.5.8.1. 2.84 grams. AXF details with toning in crevices but lightly corroded, full legends and interiors, desirable type in any grade. Before coins were made in the New World, Ferdinand and Isabel attempted several importations of coins from Spain, starting with this special issue with a crowned F ("efe coronada") inserted between the yoke and arrows on reverse.
