SPAIN, Seville, milled 2 reales "pistareen", Philip V, 1722 J. Cal-980; KM-307. 5.69 grams. Superb condition (UNC details, no corrosion), with traces of rainbow toning in crevices, very sharp design and impressive for a shipwreck coin despite its small size. From Guadalupe and Tolosa (1724), with original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic signed by Bowden. Recovered from: Guadalupe and Tolosa, sunk in 1724 off Samaná Bay, Dominican Republic
