SPAIN, Seville, cob 2 reales, Philip II, assayer Gothic D with open at 4 o'clock outside tressure on reverse. Cal-400. 6.26 grams. A bit corroded yet nicely detailed with full shield and nearly complete king's name in legend, full cross with clear assayer at bottom right, light sedimentation along the edge. Pedigreed to the Steve Valentine Collection, with original certificate from the salvor/conservator. Recovered from: Santiago, sunk in 1585 off Bassas da India in the Indian Ocean
