SPAIN, Seville, bust 8 reales, Charles III, 1788 C, PCGS AU details / cleaned, finest known in PCGS census. Cal-1239; KM-414.2. Final year of issue for the type as Charles III died in 1788. This example is technically the finest known in the PCGS census with only one other coin graded XF 40. Rather nice example with noted cleaning being only some minor hairlines, the design details quite bold and with much retained original mint luster across its fields, traces of golden toning highlight the rims and legends.
