SPAIN, Cuenca, milled ½ real, Philip V, 1719 JJ. Cal-105; KM-311. 1.76 grams. Rare shipwreck provenance (indeed, a rare type from any wreck), and a very nice piece with only minor corrosion on the cross side, full details throughout. With original certificate from Captain Tracy Bowden through his contract with the Dominican Republic and copy of the article "Graveyard of the Quicksilver Galleons" by Mendel Peterson from the December 1979 issue of National Geographic signed by Bowden. Recovered from: Guadalupe and Tolosa, sunk in 1724 off Samaná Bay, Dominican Republic
