Roman Republic, silver denarius, moneyer A. Plautius, Rome mint, 55 BC. Cr 431/1; Syd 932; RSC Plautia 13. 2.8 grams. Turreted head of Cybele, right, with AED CVR SC, behind, and A PLAVTIVS, before, on obverse. Bacchius kneeling right, holding reins and offering up olive branch to standing camel, right, with IVDAEVS before and BACCHIVS below, on reverse. Nicely toned AXF.
