Pre-Columbian "Tonalaware" clay bowl. 23.3 grams, 2½" in diameter and ¾" tall. A wide, shallow bowl with short, flared base, brown and gray color with dark brown painted design inside, fully intact, rare and desirable artifact that was probably intended as a child's toy and made in the village of Tonala near Guadalajara, Mexico (see Galleon Alley by Weller, pp. 118 and 146-9). From the Capitana El Rubí and pedigreed to Art McKee's Sunken Treasure Museum, with certificate.
