Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, assayer P (early 1620s), quadrants of cross transposed. 27.20 grams. Good crown, full but partially flat and slightly doubled shield and cross, clear P-P, seems high grade (with hints of luster) but net is no better than XF. Pedigreed to the Ponterio auction of March 1996, with original lot-tag #1125.
