Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer not visible (pre-1650), with crowned-.T. countermark on shield (rare). 23.3 grams. Broad flan with full but slightly crude cross and shield, the latter with bold full countermark, mostly toned, no corrosion but part of edge bent. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
