Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer not visible (1640s). KM-19a. 19.74 grams. Good full cross, full but weaker shield, somewhat crudely struck but solid, the low weight not so much due to corrosion as from sub-standard manufacture during mint scandal. With Sedwick certificate from 2001. Recovered from: "San Francisco wreck," sunk ca. 1650 off the Cape Verde Islands, west of Africa
