Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip IV, assayer Z, with crowned-backwards-L countermark on cross (very rare). S-P34; KM-19a. 18.6 grams. Crude edge-splits and light surface corrosion but with good toning, full shield (doubled) and cross, bold denomination, clear countermark that was listed as "U-1" (2-5 known) in Ullian (Type PP). Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
