Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip IV (1630s or 40s), assayer not visible, scarce provenance. KM-17a. 20.3 grams. Most of shield and cross despite peripheral flatness and all-over corrosion, spots of toning. Recovered from: "San Francisco wreck," sunk ca. 1647 in the Cape Verde Islands.
