Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 3, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in silver bezel with 14K gold prongs and shackle bail. 36.16 grams total. Large, oval flan with choice full cross-lions-castles and shield despite light surface corrosion, lightly toned. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate 180959.
