Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, ex-Atocha (1622), Grade 2, mounted cross-side out in sterling silver bezel with 14K gold prongs and shackle bail plus pirate head embellishment near bottom right. 36.37 grams total. Broad flan with full cross, full but off-center shield with odd depression (as made), no corrosion but low contrast. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher certificate #100399.
