Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer T, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 2, from the Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in silver bezel with 14K gold prongs, pirate face embellishment and shackle bail. 39.05 grams total. Bold complete cross and nearly full shield with some flat areas, very minor corrosion (mostly along edges). From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate #104285.
