Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer T, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 2, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in silver bezel with 14K gold prongs and conquistador embellishment and shackle bail. 42.07 grams total. Small, thick flan with good full shield full but lightly corroded cross, somewhat weak in strike and contrast. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate 199891.
