Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer M, Grade 4 ("8 points"), with hand-signed Fisher certificate from 1976. KM-10. 15.86 grams. Crudely corroded like most of the early finds, yet with clear full shield and nearly full cross that is off-center enough to show a partial date (has to be 1617) as well, spotty toning all over. With original holder and hand-signed Fisher photo-certificate from #3068 from 1976 (Cape Coral Bank), pedigreed to the Stuart Auerbach collection (see lot 4). Recovered from: Atocha, sunk in 1622 west of Key West, Florida
