Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer M, Grade 2, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted cross-side out in silver bezel with 14K gold prongs and conquistador embellishment and shackle bail. 42.62 grams total. Bold full cross and shield but peripheries crude (flat and lightly corroded in places), the coin still solid and nicely toned in crevices. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and certificate 186707.
