Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, 1652E transitional Type VII/B, rare (unlisted in Janson). S-P37; KM-unl; CT-unl. 22.8 grams. Worn from corrosion and with much flatness but with clear HP above one full pillar, bold P at bottom-right and clear date in legend; full but crude cross with P to left, lightly toned all over. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
